Frostburg Lions Meetings

Meetings are the backbone of any organization and we strive to make our meetings and projects, fun learning events. We have an agenda at each meeting that anyone can add topics to for discussion.

At our meetings we recite the Pledge of Alligence, have a rousing chorus of My Country 'tis Of Thee, and a non-denomination "Lions Prayer" invocation.

Your Club, Your Way is a great meeting guide for Lions. "Click" on this section to check it out.

We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. However, as a result of Covid, we have changed our meetings to the 2nd Wednesday only for an indefinate period. We have a meal at our meetings and the cost is right around $5.00. We conduct a "club 33" raffle at each meeting with three pots - be sure to ask how much is in the "kitty".

We hold our annual Christmas Party at Sand Springs in December, and our annual picnic in July at Hoffman Park. Guests are always welcome at these events or at any meeting. We do not meet in January or February and our March meeting is brocoli cheese soup donated by a member and costs $3.00, which goes to our Administrative Fund.

We do not require members to attend every meeting or project, but it is sure nice to see everyone. We do "what we can, when we can, and how we can" to achieve our service goals. We do give out perfect attendance pins yearly, ask about the requirements for this great award.

1967 Plymouth Fury

Your Subtitle Here

The Frostburg Lions Club is offering this one owner, 1967 Plynouth Fury for sale - AS IS, WHERE IS, in our building in Frostburg, MD. We will do our very best to givew you all the informationthat we have regarding this vehicle. We have a clear title to this car, which will be provided to the new owner, once payment has cleared.

The car was placed in storage in or around 1980, and has sat for some 41 years, in the Lions building which is not climate controlled. it was not tarped or covered. It was kept dry during this time. nothing was done to it, or for it while it sat. To the best of our knowledge everything is oroiginal, except for normal maintenance up to 1980.

We do not have keys for this car, but we are aware that key blanks and ignition (N.O.S.) are avilable. We beleive the car is mechanically sound, and would run with some work, by someone who knows what they are doing.
