All donations to the Frostburg Lions Club are tax deductable. Individuals should discuss their donations with their tax preparer for details. Frostburg Lions is a 501(3)c

Each year we hold a 50/50 raffle with the drawing in December, just in time for Christmas. As this is a 50/50 the final pot will vary depending on the number of tickets sold.

Tickets are sold at $1.00 ea. or 6 - $5.00. We begin to sell tickets in September.

Each year we hold a yard sale at Zion UCC on Main Street. And each year it keeps getting better and better.

We collect donations from members and others for the sale. After it is over we donate everything to Godwill

Each year in April we hold our basketball tournament - 40th annual so far. High school seniors make up the boys and girls teams from Maryland and West Virginia.

This is a large fund raiser. We have the largest program of its kind heree in western Maryland, and the ad revenue really helps us out.

We collect old cell phones and computer ink cartridges. When we get a box full we ship then, postage paid, to various recyclers. once check out, they send us checks for the recycling value of the items we send.

We have "donation cans" around Frostburg in various businesses for the collection of change. We collect the money and it goes into our Activities Account.

Direct donations are those donatins that we receive when conducting a project. As an example, when we collect pet food, the donations people make go directly to the Ark of Hope - 100% of the danations go there.

Donors can, at any time, send us money specifyting where the money goes, or how they wish it to be spent.

This is something new that we have just begun - a summer hoagie sale. We start selling in mid-July with delivery in mid-August. Our hoagies are $6.00, and made fresh from B&B Meats - nothing frozen here.
